Tokyo Marathon Foundation will hold ROAD TO TOKYO MARATHON 2021, pre-events for Tokyo Marathon 2021, to build momentum leading up to the scheduled Marathon day, Sunday, October 17, 2021.

This series of events—the first of its kind—is designed to invite people around the world to experience the joy of running within the “new normal”. Events include a virtual marathon open to runners from all　regions, and Tokyo-based running events featuring a blend of the virtual and in-person events.

Title: ROAD TO TOKYO MARATHON 2021

Date: February 22 (Mon.) until March 14 (Sun.), 2021

Prize: Total 1,000 runners will have the chance to win a guaranteed, non-complimentary entry to the Tokyo Marathon 2021.

Initially, the entry was scheduled to open from Jan. 21, but due to the current situation surrounding COVID-19 , we have decided to postpone the entry date.
