The Tokyo Marathon Friendship Run was first held in 2012 as a fun run event to foster relationships between Japanese runners and international runners visiting Japan.

This year's race will start and finish at the Taito City Riverside Sports Center Athletic Field, not far from the Asakusa Kaminarimon Gate, which is part of the Tokyo Marathon course, and will take place on a scenic course around Sumida Park, which also offers a view of Tokyo SkyTree.

Under the slogan of the Tokyo Marathon concept "The Day We Unite.", let's enjoy the fun run 5km together with runners from all over the world!
